Highway is right next to the property, and you didn't even hear any traffic. Didn't like the cook much, he wasn't friendly. But i have to say hes excellent keeping everything full coffee, food and condiments always full and he cleaned up tables immediately. I just wanted him to say good morning, i said it to him everyday of my stay and got no acknowledgement.

The front desk ladies were super friendly and informative. The room was simple and clean. The hotel was at a large intersection. The traffic noise was a little loud. The sounds reverberated off the buildings, so it seems. It was a good hotel for our week-long visit.

Everything happens for a reason!!!

Great experience with this hotel!!! We came to Gettysburg for a convention, the hotel it was being hosted at was sold out for obvious reasons. I searched and booked this one which was only a few minute's away. SO GLAD I DID! It was clean, well supplied, the staff was friendly and attentive. Had we been able to book the other place, we would have had to deal with all the issues the rest of our family and friends had to deal with. The fact that elevators were out of order, first both then 1. But the worst part? They actually ran out of toilet paper. Yes, you heard that right, the hotel who booked a convention, "mis-ordered" and ran out with no plan for getting any for the guests. The person working the desk actually offered a box of tissues as an alternative. I guess they are right when they say everything happens for a reason. We were able to leave the event, go back to our hotel, that had all the toilet paper one could want and the elevators worked!
