Amazing getaway.

My children and i loved staying here. The room was amazing and Chance at the frint desk was so welcoming and provided so many suggestions for us to do while we were in town. Ive already booked our next room in June.

Check in process was quick and easy. Friendly staff. Room was clean, the sound of the river is Right outside the window. Our room had a Small balcony to enjoy the fresh breeze and our morning coffee. Bed was comfy, pillows were a little flatter than we prefer but overall a wonderful night of sleep.

Arrived and instantly felt uneasy. Guy at front desk either didnt want to be there or something else not friendly or helpful at all. Only got worse from there. Got in the room and things were dated and also gross like grime on shower walls and staining around the toilet. Carpet was duck taped down in places. The back patio door lock was a 1x that wasn't long enough to properly keep door fully closed. Thats just the beginning. Not even maybe 10 min after we get there and get our stuff in the room we get a knock at the door with 2 guys claiming to be housekeeping/maintenance. I was very weirded out by this but thought how unprofessional. Then maybe 2 or 3 minutes later ANOTHER knock! This time asking for our names and claiming a mix up. We then got very concerned and decided to get out of there and get something to eat. Over our meal my Fiance and I decided that we didnt feel safe. Returned our key cards and got the hell out of there.

Cute Inn in Idaho Springs, Co.

Convenient right off freeway, Cute Old fashioned Inn with River view Balcony off the back. Beds very comfortable. LCD TV, no smart apps, just basic cable channels. Shampoo, conditioner containers were empty, not filled by Housekeeping! Water pressure low in shower. But, other than that, cute old fashioned Inn close to I-70.

Only one complaint: had in room coffee maker, but only ONE single coffee pod (there were others but who wants decaf?). They said we could get more but when we went to get more, the office was locked. Otherwise good value. Nice view of Clear Creek.
