Room smelled musty and was outdated. The room has what looks like original carpet that needs to be replaced and was poorly cleaned. The blinds on the balcony door are filthy on one side and the other side clean. I was so grossed out.

Our room was 414. Needs a great deep cleaning. Also it smells like smoke terrible. There is a body intention in the mattress on the side next to the balcony. Would not book here again. Cobwebs everywhere

If they would put some money for repairs into this place, it would be an amazing getaway. However, the lack of maintenance is beginning to show. Had to slam door to the room to get it to lock. (others had this problem too) Located off the main street without all the noise and by a creek with balcony overlooking. Nice view, but balcony very dirty with uncomfortable chairs. Room smelled of smoke and needs new carpets and a good cleaning. Pool area is very nice. Breakfast was a joke, only bagels were edible. I hope they put some money into fixing things up and if so, my family would enjoy staying there again.

Lovely, comfortable rooms. Convenient to drive into Gatlinburg and calmer without as much traffic. Love the creek with the porch overlooking. Staff was very professional and helpful.

Old fashioned style resort

This is an older property that has been pretty well maintained. It's not fancy by any means, but it's very unique and offers wonderful views of a beautiful stream that runs behind it. There's plenty of outdoor space to enjoy. It's what "resorts" used to be like back in the day. They're free breakfast was disappointing, but it was better than nothing at all. We would stay there again.

Great place

Amazing trip and the local free trolley service around gatlinburg stop was right in front of hotel. Creek was amazing to sit, watch, as well as listen to during the day and night. Dining areas within walking distance. Overall, great trip and will definitely be returning.

We loved it!

Such a nice place in Gatlinburg! Appreciated how it was a short way away from the hustle and bustle of the main street of Gatlinburg with all the tourist attractions. It was a lot more relaxed feeling while still being so close. And you can't beat the creek front rooms.

Woodsie adorable !!

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was very cabin cute & the scenery of course is beautiful. LOVED having the brook right off of our balcony patio. It was spacious & had everything we needed. When we 1st arrived the room had a stale or musty smell that was a bit off putting but opening doors & plugging in an oil diffuser helped. The bed were older & definitely could use replacing. They were not very comfie, but one night was just fine. And the price point was great.

The room was had very dim lighting, and the bathroom sink was beautiful but for a woman there was no place to put your make up bag, the mirror was too low, and the towel rack looked like it had been lowered and never fixed the holes from above.

The hotel has a beautiful location, with a stream running through the room balconies. A plus is that it has a trolley stop right in front. The rooms are quite large and the beds are very comfortable. However, it needs remodeling because everything looks worn and old. The breakfast is terrible; there's no variety and no protein. The elevator sometimes worked and sometimes didn't; it was scary to use it because you didn't know if you'd get stuck. The laundry room has one of the three washing machines damaged, and the machines steal money, and the front desk won't give you a refund. The gym has almost no machines and is dusty. Overall, the surrounding area is quite dirty and neglected. I hope they can fix all these issues to make guests' stays more pleasant.
