Did not appear the toilet had been cleaned upon check in. Didn’t receive any room service the first day. I had to call to get fresh towels for the bathroom. Found a pair of socks under the bed. The beds were never made (nor sheets changed) the entire stay, nor was the bathroom cleaned.

I loved sitting on the balcony watching the brook flowing past the resort. It was the perfect time to watch the leaves fall. I loved feeling safe and comfortable and enjoying the quiet. Parking was easy. Staff was very friendly and most helpful.

The room was very clean and spacious. Loved the ladies at the front desk, very helpful!! The location is fabulous! It’s an older hotel, you can tell they are updating the rooms but yet they are still cozy.

The room was clean. The two gentlemen at the front desk at check-in were less than helpful. They did not want to get up and do their job. Just sit and say i don't know. The water wash cold two days in a row. We have stayed 3 times now. It's getting worse ever time. We will find another place to stay.

Breakfast was good as was the service, my only suggestion is that I wish it had started at 7 instead of 8 so we could have started our adventures earlier. Otherwise I really enjoyed my stay, in fact this is the 2nd time I have staded at Brookside.

Loved the balcony overlooking the stream, the sound of it was soooo relaxing. A bear came around as well during our stay. The staff was excellent and the room was satisfactory. Yes, the rooms are older, but you feel like you are in a cabin which was very cool. The warm breakfast buffet was great too.

Hotel staff was friendly and courteous. Room appeared old and dingy, not what we expected based on photos. Bathroom had a very strong mildew smell and shower curtain was severely mildewed. Housekeeping did clean bathroom and change out shower certain upon request. Overall the property is run down and is in need of some updating.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We also got to check in a little early. The only thing, they didn't have any fire wood for the wood burning fireplace in the rooms, but was not hard to find at a store close by. Over all nice stay.

Nice accommodations! Friendly and helpful staff too! The mountain views and the private balcony with a beautiful creek 😍 with a lighted walking area to the creek for taking pics 📸 too! The covered bridge that goes across the creek too. A nice fire pit area and a grill area too. Just a great relaxing place to stay with all of these accommodations and perks 😎 to enjoy 😉 and see
