Since we were going to Yellowstone National Park via the North entrance, the hotel was conveniently located, only about a mile away. The staff were all pleasant and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. Our room had a kitchen with the equipment needed to cook. It had an apartment-sized refrigerator rather than the typical hotel mini fridges. Also, if you need bear spray, there is a kiosk in the lobby where you can rent it. We would stay there again if in the area.

The Big Rock was in town but not in high traffic, walking distance to restaurants, a grocery market. It was clean, comfortable and the kitchenette was everything we needed to cook a simple meal. The view was great and the table and chairs on the common patio area was appreciated. A bonus was having an elk eating in the grass right next to the hotel!

We started planning in December for our trip and the great reviews brought me back to this motel. Our room was fresh, clean & quiet, beds were comfy, and the people were great! Although there is no pool or breakfast, there is coffee in room and in the office. We spent most of our time in the Park, so Yellowstone Big Rock Inn fit our needs perfectly, as it is close to the north entrance.

For the cost and convenience of being so close to the park, this place met our needs for a family of five. The room was spacious, and the pull out couch accommodated 2 kids comfortably. We checked in late, so we really appreciated the quick and easy check in. Free coffee in the morning made my day:)

Spacious rooms and bathroom. Just change the towels, seems they work out. Alls shops and restaurants are 0.5 miles away. View from hotel is stunning mountain ranges. Would highly recommend to stay here.
