The property is a little isolated and awkward to drive into. The view of the beach is beautiful and access is great. The amenities are a little limited.

Probably not fair to rate an area that is still recovering from recent hurricane damage that ravaged Sanibel Island. The room seemed more of a one-bedroom condo you would rent on the beach for a few days to a week. If that is your goal, a great spot. Otherwise, for anyone passing through, I think it misses the mark. That is what we were doing.

We stayed in a room with an absolutely breathtaking view, the perfect way to start and end each day with the sound of the ocean. The front desk service at check-in and check-out was fantastic – friendly, welcoming, and efficient. The beach is spectacular – peaceful, clean, and ideal for relaxing or shelling. Everything at the hotel is well cared for and thoughtfully maintained. It was a wonderful experience and we will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for peace, nature, and exceptional hospitality!

Island Inn is far beyond our expectations. Check in with Ken was awesome. Its more than a room irs an apartment with full kitchen, screened balcony overlooking the Gulf of America. One of the best places on Sanibel for sea shell hunting. Clean, nice furnishings.

The room had everything we needed - sitting area, kitchen, nice bathroom, and, most importantly, direct access from the balcony down stairs onto the beach. It was great. We really enjoyed the space and view. And the staff are so friendly!

Gulf front property with covered parking. Immaculately clean with beautiful decor. Lovely screened in porch with a sink/counter to wash your seashells or other use that you might have. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable about area dining options. We didn’t take advantage of all amenities but there are many.
