I had been living in my truck for 30 days straight. I needed to get out of there before I lost my mind. An uber driver told me about Cattleman’s. He said every now and then he and his wife would stay at the Holiday Inn next door. So I listened and booked a room. The breakfast was good, the room was clean, but they didn’t have laundry. If they had laundry this would be perfect. It does smell outside the room and I couldn’t wash clothes across the street because they didn’t have an ATM. I ended up trekking through the snow to Pilot like I was on Fargo.
I really enjoyed this.

Went to check in and there was nobody there- it took probably 10 minutes to find somebody. I even tried calling the hotel and other numbers associated with it. The only people I could get to answer were outsourced jobs so they couldn’t help. Apparently they only had one person working. We checked in and went to the room- I could not get the heat to work. Then the guy below us kept banging on the ceiling as my daughter running into the room at 8:30 pm was too loud for him. He did it repetitively and so I packed our stuff up. I went downstairs and said that this was not going to work- we need another room. We were given another room- our rate stayed the same but it was a downgrade. We went from a suite with a king to a regular room with a queen. Pool was cold. Felt like we were walking on eggshells all night- The breakfast had muffins-great- but they were stale and hard. no intention of returning.

The pool was a huge disappointment. Much smaller than pics on Expedia and not very clean and the room had mold and moisture dripping from ceiling. I had booked because pool looked nice and we had children who wanted to swim. Rooms and breakfast fine

Staff support was lacking, disrespect adults and children running around. It was a free for all it felt like. And I get it’s cause a birthday party was happening. But we just wanted to enjoy a little family getaway and swim. But no towels in pool room, staff said they were all out of clean towels so they could help. And dismissed us. I’m not one to leave bad reviews but was very disappointed.

I enjoyed 4 nights at this hotel! The breakfast was wonderful and well stocked. I arrived late on my first night the doors were broken and it was snowing outside. I had a 5 night stay and getting all the luggage in and situated was not an easy task and there was no staff to help. Staffing was definitely an issue while here. Not once did house keeping try to come clean my room during this time or restock towels. I went to the front and did it each time even to get extra pillows and blankets for our pull out couch. Front desk was very helpful during the day time. The pool needed maintenance during our time. The first night was fine but the next 3 days the pool/hotub became cloudy and full of sand. It seemed like it was being fixed on the last day of our stay. Despite it being in that condition we swam and enjoyed the pool without any side affects almost every day we were there. Over all the price was great for what we got to enjoy. Would recommend to anyone needing a comfortable and affordable place to stay while vacationing or on the road.
