We have used this Hyatt at least once a year for a number of years on our way to New Jersey because we like Fredericksburg and in previous visits we have enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately, this year we were awakened at 1:00AM by the sound of dogs barking and children shouting and again at 7:00AM for the same reason. When we commented to the front desk, we were told that the second floor was for children and pets. Being in our 70's we had neither. The only remedy we were offered was a note in our file for future stays not to put us on the 2nd floor. Not much of a remedy for the inconvenience. Thus, the POOR rating for the hotel....

The breakfast Buffett was hands down one of the best I have ever encountered while traveling. The homey touches of serving eggs in Dutch oven, cast iron pots was impressive and variety was not lacking. Ingredients seemed top shelf. Chiobani yogurt with a selection of toppings. This was the perfect hotel stay. The room was super clean, and the shower was hot with great pressure.
