It is an old motel but very neat and clean. You feel like you have stepped back in time by the furnishings but everything looked new and it was the cleanest plave we have stayed on this trip. Delightful place.

I liked the lodge's lady representee at the check in desk. She was nice and new. I really only like giving good or great reviews. I have to say I can't go without saying anything this time. Management, I know your a small town but their is no reason a room should ever be so gross. Hair in bathroom, blood on sheets, gummies on floor, food all over microwave, hair ......etc. Please be cleaner we pay to stay with your establishment.. Thank you

The night the lights went out in.....Hawthorne.

Arrived at sunset to find out the electricity was out due to a storm that passed thru earlier. After about 30 minutes of waiting, the owner/operator and I agreed to let me stay even with the lights out. I had a flashlight that worked just fine to shower and get to bed. I was tired after riding all day. The next morning, the electricity was back on all was back to normal. The room was spacious, clean, nothing missing, broken or inoperable. I slept like a baby with the windows open. Thank you for your hospitality!

Great place to stay.

We picked this place to stay because of the price. It was very family friendly. It was very comfortable, clean and quiet. The host was very kind made sure we had everything we needed. Told us about available places to eat and let us know there was a grocery story in town as well. It is not overly modern which suits our sensibilities. Overall it was one of the best places we stayed at on our roadtrip. So if you are looking for a great place to lay your head this is the place.

Old motel. Bathroom had not been cleaned properly. There was a ton of hair all over the shower walls and the lightbulb in the bathroom was burnt out. The bulb wasn’t a big deal because I just swapped it with one from the room. The cleaner should have noticed it though, if they had cleaned the bathroom. It had a fridge and microwave which was nice. We went for a walk around town and it felt nice and safe.

Comfortable basic hotel

A no frills hotel with Excellent customer service. Manager was very friendly and made sure everything in room working properly. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Overall condition of room is on the older side especially the bathroom. Not a lot of hot water while using the shower but enough to get a quick clean. If looking for just a place to get some rest while passing through this is an option.

Comfortable no frills hotel

If looking for a place to just get some rest as traveling through then this is a comfortable hotel to stay at. Manager is Very friendly and made sure everything in room working properly. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Only downside was no hot water so unable to take a shower.
