I live hours away. I see my eye doctor here in Fairfax so I stay here every 6 weeks or so. I was very disappointed at check in for my hungry self to see and be told the restaurant was closed and would not be open for dinner at all. That meant I would have to order out. Hotel no longer allows room delivery. Now I’m told I will have to come to the lobby and pick up my food. Throw on top of those upsets, I go to get ice and I find out the ice machines on both the 2nd and 3rd floors are not working. So every other stay I am in PJs with delicious dinner ready to eat and put cold compress on my eyes by 5:30. This time I was not able to settle until 8pm. My eyes were aching and it cost me a small fortune to have dinner delivered. I usually give this hotel a most excellent review …. Last time I checked in there was no Internet and cable TV trouble. I’m wondering why things are going steadily down hill. I’m back in February I am really hoping things are back to normal at my favorite hotel.
