I had already made reservations with Expedia and pre- paid. It took 30 minutes! We had traveled 6 hours and very tured. Clerk could not figure out computer. He finally asked for help. We got to our room, and was no decaf coffee packs and no hand or bath bar soap. My husband went back to the clerk. The clerk simply said, "We're out of decaf coffee and out of any kind of soap. Or great, we couldn't wash our hands or take a shower!! My husband went to the store to buy what we needed.

Evening in Evanston

Room was large and clean. Had all the normal stuff: bed, desk with chair (horrible condition), plenty of plug-ins, large screen TV, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, safe, iron & ironing board, etc. Only minor annoyances were the heater was a bit finicky to get at a decent temperature, and the shower head could use a solid cleaning & scouring. All in all, it was "okay".

Noisy room

It was noisy by the highway. I laid down to sleep and heard a buzzing noise in my ear while my ear was on the pillow. I got up and unplugged the refrigerator and the noise stopped. The lamanent floor was nice but fridge vibrations from the motor went through the flooring and onto the bed so the motor vibrations were amplified so you couldn’t sleep. Tired today. Bed was comfortable after unplugging the fridge! Lotion container on wall was empty. It took about 10 minutes of waiting to check in since no one was at the desk with no bell to ring

Good value for the area. Room was very basic but clean. Breakfast was pretty good with sausage and eggs. Employees were pleasant and helpful

Liked being on the ground floor with outside door so easier to take my dog out . The hotel wasn’t busy at all so what I didn’t care for was them putting a late check in in the room right above me so had to listen to them stomping around. What is didnt like about Expedia was in my haste to make the online reservation wanting it for the 8th that nite and not the 11th that Expedia put in , Expedia wouldn’t let me change the date or cancel reservation for the 11th
