Horrible Experience

When I checked in another guest was mentioning that their floor was wet. When we opened the two doors to our room both were littered with bugs. There were dead and dying bugs throughout the room and bugs in cobwebs. We immediately went back to the lobby to cancel our weekend stay and were advised that since we checked in we would not be able to cancel and they would not offer any refund. We were offered another room but I was not confident that another room would be better when another guest had just been complaining about their room as well. I had booked two nights and the hotel kept every penny of my money for a room I never took a bag into. There is a difference in a few bugs entering a room from outside to having to step over an entrance littered with hundreds of dead bugs to get into a room.

The check-in staff was nice. The AC would run for 10 minutes and shut off for 30 making the heat unbearable. I got 3 hours of sleep and was not happy. There was no table in the room, but a weird low chair for where one should have been. No microwave. The roll in bath was lovely. We heard staff go out and ask the partiers to quiet down and thought we would be ok but the AC refused to stay on so we could hear everything. We called again at 2:30am about the people screaming and yelling and they finally got people to stop. By then between sweating to death in the room and being awakened every few minutes when the AC would go off or on it was not a pleasant stay. Be aware if you do decide to stay here: 1. facilities are very clean, 2. Bed was mostly comfortable, 3. Bring your own fan for cooling and noise control and 4. it is an open layout so all the rooms open to the outside. We were told we could get refunded if we were there at 9am, but we had to check out early to get to our event by 8am. So no partial refund like the desk clerk mentioned and we could have slept in our car and done better. It was not worth the price, especially without breakfast. :( Spend that money elsewhere, you will thank me.

Really liked the 3 queen beds. This room obviously was once 2 rooms but combining it into 1 room makes it very comfortable. Room has full size fridge/freezer and stove top. Also the largest TV's I have ever seen in a hotel, with great channel selection too. I would highly recommend this hotel. Not the greatest area of town but also not the worst.

There was random hairs around the kitchen and bathroom... The TV keeps going out... We went out and got food came back and our keys didn't work then there was no one at the front desk for about 10 minutes. But at least me and my family had a place to sleep. My daughter loved it and this trip was mainly for her.

The picture of the hotel were deceiving. The area wasn’t a safe area. Heard cop cars and ambulances all night. Tons of people hanging outside the hotel smoking marijuana and our kids were very scared. Awful experience.

Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Street noise was very loud, particularly police sirens on a Friday night. Also, the people staying a few doors down spent the evening and well into the night sitting outside on the walkway, talking loudly and smoking despite the “no smoking” policy and the “quiet hours after 10pm” policy. The smoke was filtering into our room and my 10 year son who is allergic to smoke was bothered by it so I called down to the desk. They sent someone up right away to ask the people to move to one of the smoking areas. They moved inside for about half an hour before coming back out, even louder than before and with even more smoke. By that point my son was asleep and eventually they went inside so I didn’t bother calling the desk again. Overall, not a great experience and I would not stay here again.

The staff we interacted with was wonderful. The room was very clean. The beds were comfy. Our only complaint was how noisy it was around that area. A train went through several times an hour all night long and we heard lots of sirens. But that is no fault of the hotel's.
