The dining room was closed for the evening due to lack of staff, I sympathize with the hotel because this is a problem everywhere. When we arrived, we waited for 10 minutes for someone to walk up to check us in. We tried calling and everything and no one was at the front desk. Probably same staffing issue. The AC in our room was broken, and it kept trying to work correctly and was incredibly loud. Simultaneously, we were unfortunately staying at the same time as a girls softball team so there was running, screaming, doors slamming all night. I can’t fault the staff for this one, more of bad parents instead. Overall, the hotel, accommodations, and cleanliness were great and it’s a beautiful location. A few frustrating things both in and out of the hotels control would not keep me from staying here again. The location is beautiful.

Comfy, clean room. Tub/shower floor was very slick and scary, and faucet handle came off when turning on the water. Despite being close to I-80, it was quiet. We will return when traveling in that area.

Gorgeous lobby, the rooms not so great

This was a one night stay on our way home. The first room we found leftovers in the fridge and the TV didn't work. We were told the room was cleaned, they just overlooked the fridge. Instead of bringing a different TV, we had to switch to a new room. It was just across the hall, but we had already settled in for the night. The AC/heat system in the room was noisy. So much for getting rest before the drive home. There was no ice machine on the second floor (our floor) we had to go to the first or third floor. The beds were not comfortable, possibly because they're old??? We ate dinner at their restaurant and decided after we should have ventured out. The breakfast was okay, fried bacon, fried potatoes and scrambled eggs. There's also cereal, yogurt, juice, milk, coffee. The lobby is gorgeous (doesn't match what you get in the room), and the staff is great! But that doesn't help when you need comfort and sleep.

Felt sorry for the breakfast kitchen staff

Hotel was nice. Fridge in room didn’t work. The lady making breakfast was very overwhelmed with sports teams needing to eat at once. The cooking situation was not meant for very many people at a time. Nice hotel though.

They need to invest in new shower heads or de-mineralize the existing ones. My shower head merely spurted from a few holes. Also some upholstery on chairs showed "dusty" seats, but as they seem to have a large & probably frequent group of "road crew " guests, they're going to soil things due to their dirty/dusty clothes. Overall ok for sleeping/driving. Restaurant was a plus to get a meal.

Room clean, but not stocked well at all. 2 flimsy cups to drink out of and use to brush our teeth. 2 toilet paper holders, one with the tiniest bit of paper left, only because it was glued to the cardboard roll, the other holder had enough paper for our one night stay. Why wouldn’t they replace the other roll and replenish cups when cleaning the room for new guests? Hallway in front of our room littered with paper. Looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in a while. Had 2 vouchers for breakfast, but no one was at the counter to take our order. Had to get someone to retrieve her after standing there for what felt like 10 minutes. We smiled, said good morning, but she was obviously not happy when she came out from the back. Only offered scrambled eggs, sausage and potatoes. Can’t eat eggs, was hoping for bacon since that was what we were told at the front desk, and wasn’t going to eat just potatoes for breakfast. For the life of me, I cannot figure out why this hotel got such a high rating. It’s a one and done for us.
