I arrived on a Saturday afternoon in early May. There were no trolleys available, so I carried my bags in by hand. At the front desk, a man was on the phone behind an open office door, and there was no bell or clear way to get someone’s attention. After waiting around 8 minutes, a woman finally emerged but didn’t greet me, apologize, or make eye contact—her demeanor felt cold and dismissive.
When I booked through Expedia, it stated that breakfast was included, but I was told I’d need to pay $20/day. As I was in town for work, this was both inconvenient and frustrating. The room itself looked nothing like the bright, updated photos online—it was older, worn-down, and had visible ceiling damage. Small bits of mortar even fell from the patched-up ceiling as I unpacked.
The desk attendant failed to mention that my room was at the far end of the building, near a separate entrance and parking area. Had I known, I could’ve saved myself the trouble of dragging heavy bags through the hotel.
Other issues included no hand soap in the bathroom, extremely slow wifi (a file transfer took all night), and very thin walls.
I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.
