Not very Hospitable

When booking, I chose this place because of the reviews and the rates. I knew this wouldn't be a five-star Hilton hotel, but I figured it would be fine for the few days we would be in town. I knew this place would look/ feel cheaper than most hotels, which is fine. My issue was the hospitality of the staff. You would think people in the hospitality business would prioritize this, but I guess not? Maybe it was a cultural difference? I'm not sure, but what I do know is that the staff was cold/ stand-offish, and honestly just kind of rude. Every single day of our stay, our keys would have to be reset because they would stop working. The staff was annoyed with us for asking for towels, and when I went to the front desk to ask again, she told me no, that I had enough towels already (we had 2, and there were 3 of us in the room). The staff was annoyed in the morning with other guests who were requesting breakfast items from the breakfast area. In all honesty, it just seemed like they hated their job at the hotel, like they hated the hotel, and like they hated their life.... that was the vibe they gave off and it sucked! I've worked at a low-rate hotel before; being kind and generous with your clientele and guests costs nothing. That's what makes a difference between a bad and a great experience. That's what ensures people will return again in the future.

Super comfortable

The bed was super comfortable and the room was extremely clean. However it’s not very echo friendly because they still use the very small shampoo bottles and I had to go down and actually asked for them

As soon as we walked in, the lobby was really hot, no AC. The people behind the front desk counter were nice enough, but it looked like they were behind these case plexiglass, and did not make me feel safe. When I got in the elevator, it sounded like it was gonna break down at any moment when I got off on my floor it smelled like I had just walked into some kind of a weird smelling restaurant. When I got to my room I discovered there was no soap, no hair products and no toilet paper. There was also no bathmat and exactly 2 small towels and two hand towels. I went downstairs to complain and they gave me the items I needed. However, when I got back to my room, all of a sudden, my key card did not work. I had to go back downstairs for them to reprogram it at that point about two waters. I went back upstairs using an elevator that I could swear was gonna leave me stranded between Floors. It was horrible. This was by far the worst stay I have had ever. The outside even looked rundown and I paid $121 for this! I would definitely like a refund.

So this place decided to fill their pool which happens to be in the parking lot in with dirt and did not have any kind of warning signs or cones or anything else to let you know. Our vehicle ended up stuck in the pool and the motel manager refused to do anything about the situation to help us out. I will make sure everyone I know that is planning a trip to Denton Texas knows not to stay here

Great place to stay!

For the price, this place is great value! I’ve stayed at this location multiple times and each time, the rooms are very clean and the staff professional and friendly. The rooms have microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker, which is a plus for me. I’ve previously stayed at other hotels within the same vicinity, paying 75-124% more, for the some room equivalent and service. I will definitely continue booking with this hotel/location.

Terrible hotel.

Terrible experience person at front was very rude both checking in and checking out and kept our $50 deposit even though no damages or anything were made. Will not stay again.

Run the other way....fast

If I could give zero stars I would. Person at desk had zero knowledge of equipment in room and did not comlrehend why a refrigerator would be needed for medical purposes. Filthy room. Pillows smelled and cases were yellowish. Chair stained. No washcloth and only 1 towel. No cups. Breakfast was horrible and dining room was nor even remotely clean. Out of waffle mix at 8:15 am. Eggs were not real. Orange juice waz orange flavored water. Elevator and bathroom in lobby out of service. Rude morning desk staff.
