THE HOTEL WAS CLOSED WHEN WE ARRIVED!!

The hotel was CLOSED when we arrived! CLOSED! No notice to us in fact we got a confirmation email that morning! When we arrived at the hotel, it was dark and there was a sign on the front door that said CLOSED!!!

No Baymont for me in the future

I booked our room on Hotels. Com and two days before our arrival I got a "Thank You" text from Baymont telling me my reservation was canceled! I was to attend a wedding with my family and had no room! Baymont did not answer when I tried (several times) to reach someone! No explanation from them at all. I was told by Hotels. Com that they could not help get another room and they did not know what happened. My theory is that the Baymont was fully booked and it was the first day of Octoberfest in Helen, where the hotel is located and they knew they could get ALOT more money for the rooms I reserved, so they canceled and booked someone else at a much higher price.( I checked rates) BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE.

The hotel is closed for renovations, but took my money and didn’t let me know they were closed. They are still taking reservations and peoples money, so I reported them to the chamber of commerce.

The room was way over priced for where it's located. For a $190 for a night I'd expect it to be clean and top order. The bed was way to soft like it was wore out. The shower curtain rod was broken causing the shower curtain to hang in the center of the tub. There was used piece of soap in the tub along with hair clumps. I told the attendant she I'll put it in the notes. For a $190 I'd expect it to be taken care of.

Convenient location. Allowed pets which was critical to our decision. The cleanliness was way below average. Requested room as first was not vacuumed or dusted, plus the refrigerator was leaking water.Hotel owner graciously gave us another room which had not been vacuumed and there was hair in the bathtub. The point which stung was walking bare footed and seeing my souls turn black. No vacuum and probably never shampooed. Last, the grounds, building and pool need serious maintenance. A basic one very simple: caulk around the tub to cover the black dirt or fungus. Host and owner or manager very nice and accommodating.

Where do I begin, place needs to be leveled and rebuilt. Only thing we did was sleep on top of the stained sheets and took showers. I to check out early and staff said there are no refunds. The owner was not available, and the staff had no access to the computers. I took many photos and will be sending to Wyndham corp office. What a shame, no pool, rooms smelled and everything outdated. Purchased room deodorizers and carpet fresh at a near by Dollar store, along with blankets to lay on top of beds Please let me know if you want photos

Not Clean

They had plenty of cereal and no milk. They charged me for upgrades they did not have, in which they didn't tell me they didn't have until I got there. Their blanket for the bed was not clean. Carpet was sticky. Office area had peeling paint and a very dirty rug. Had extra pillows, which were dirty, but no pillow cases. Bedding had holes in it.

Not overly happy exspected more from Baymount

Pool had no water in it no ice machine. No elevator. Breakfest was not much to it Air Conditioner was not adjustable.
