Enroute back from a cruise vacation embarking from Orlando, we stayed at the Days Inn by Wyndham Daytona Beach Speedway from Mon 3rd Feb to Frid 7th Feb (2025) at which time we checked out. The cost was $424.11 Cdn. We were Very Disappointed with our experience and would like to share some of the reasons why. 1. Floor felt like they have never Cleaned 1.1. Very dirty (sticky) 1.2. The bathroom sink had no hot water. 1.3. Bathroom itself was disgusting. 1.4. Fluid-like substance (feces) between the toilet bowl and tank right under the tank. 1.5. Walls smeared in what looked like feces behind the bathroom door. 1.6. Drain in the tub not draining correctly. 1.7. The whole room smelled awful. We were told housekeeping would attend but no one ever did. 2. Broken drywall between the bed closest to the bathroom. 3. AC/Heat not working correctly. No heat with the heat turned. 4. My wife had to get more towels from the front desk due to the mess in the bathroom. We wanted to check out after the first day but were told that since we booked Monday-Friday and we have now already checked in, we can leave at any time however, we would not be getting any of our money back even if we leave as once we check in, we can no longer get our money back. That did not make any sense to us whatsoever. We were already paying $106.03 Cdn per night for this filthy motel and now being told we can leave but our money stays. We understood the charge for Mon and Tues but not the other

Housekeeping never checked on my during my stay, old bagels served for breakfast.hotel has sign posted saying if you try to take your breakfast to your room you would be fined $20...drain stopper was removed from tub so pregnant wife couldn't take a bath. Mini fridge freezer was filled with frost, couldn't use little freezer

Not good at all

Rooms are small and out dated and dusty. Ac doesn’t work properly. Pool was nasty and has object in it that wasn’t appropriate for anyone to swim in and unclean. Not enough towels or toilet paper. Unpon arrival the manager and a gues as seen and heard among other guess and my kids cusing and nothing was done to prevent her from reentering the facilities. The guess was complaining about her belonging being taken from her room when she had not checked out. That should have been a red flag not to stay here. There were people in the parking lots all hours hanging out and no security present. The room door looks like someone used something to break into them more than once and was hard to open every time we went in and out of the room. The toilet seat was small and outdated and need an upgrade from 1980’s. This was not what the picture looked like online. The breakfast consist of one waffle machine for the entire building so the wait was long due to every waiting to make waffle. Just a sad place of business

The sheets were stained, the back of the entry door was extremely dirty. There appeared to be mold on the back of the bathroom door as well as tape that was painted over holes in the bathroom door as well. We didn’t even stay for the second night, we booked a different hotel.

Filth

The room was so dirty it was discussing. After taking a shower my girlfriend and i were getting dressed we noticed the bottom of our feet looked like we walk out in the parking lot. The next moring we went to the front desk to ask them if they could have the maid or someone mop the floor. When we arrived that evening we npticed nothing was cleaned. The last morning before checkout I went to the front desk to get some clean towels. I was given 2 bathtowels and some dirty rags , they weren't even washcloths they were towles that were cut i to rags and they were dirty. So disappointed in they contion and service we received during our stay. The hotel is around four hundred unit. We did not see maids cleanings any rooms let alone our room, not even one maid cart in the two days we were there.

More than a coat of paint.

Great management staff, they were helpful and provided an early check in. Property needs a rehab. Very dated rooms, lobby and breakfast area. Light directly outside the room shines through areas on drapes overnight. Broken TV in breakfast room, no hot food except a waffle maker, limited choices, only cereal. No air circulation and not enough tables for everyone to sit. Broken plug on hair blower. Palmetto bug in room, pest control? Beds were clean and comfortable. Quality of stay could be way better. A coat of paint doesn’t make it updated. Pool could not be used. Unheated.

Horrible, the worst hotel I have ever stayed in my life. Dirty, bad mattresses, dirty and rusty bathrooms, broken window curtains, bad smell. Very bad experience.

The water in the shower was flowing even when turned off. The toilet stopped flushing and had to fill up the tank in order to flush. There was mold on the pillow cases and found a live cockroach
