Room carpet needed cleaning. The receptionist at check in examined my driver license for an extended period of time, and then proceeded to enter it into the computer. This fact made me feel extremely uncomfortable.

The ladies at the front desk were super sweet and accommodating, and gave me a lot of TLC as I was up there for a funeral and was having a hard time. It’s such a warm home like feeling at this hotel. ❤️

The walk-in shower should have something to prevent the water from coming out into the bathroom floor somehow, a longer shower curtain or something if possible.

The approach & curb appeal was terrible. Room was very dated , need carpet & bathroom needs attention. I think it was a pet friendly room from the smell. Towels & bedding was nice but thats about all . Would not recommend.

I had no idea that there was work being done on the hotel..a new roof.. And I was put on the 3rd floor.. We went out for dinner and when we returned there was no place to park because parking area by the front.. Handicapped parking.. Was blocked off because of work being done on roof.. I'm handicapped and had to park a distance and walk.. Next morning I was awakened by loud pounding.. And finally figured out that work being done on the roof had resumed.. Early.. Interrupting my sleep.. This isn't the first time I've stayed here.. And I enjoyed this hotel.. But this last time was a disappointment..i felt that the price I paid for the inconvenience was a little too much..

A good place to stop. The hotel is behind a restaurant that has been closed down, and has no lighting at night, so it was a bit weird to navigate, but the hotel itself is a good buy for the price

Our stay was good. The staff was friendly and check in was very easy & quick - and there was a cookie waiting for us when we arrived. Breakfast was your basic - something warm (egg, waffle, etc) and something cold (fruit, choice of cold cereal, choice of yogurt, muffin, toast, etc). Property was clean, breakfast area was clean. The property was a little further from the highway we were traveling on, so undecided if we would stay there again depending on our timing.

The hotel was rather run down. Our room was dusty and outdated. The mattresses need replaced. The toilet was not flushing properly and clogged. (Not due to our usage) We were given a plunger to unclog it ourselves as they did not have maintenance to do so. The parking lot did not feel safe. We had to park in an overflow lot due to a section blocked off while they are replacing the roof. The coffee in the morning was lukewarm. Someone on our floor played loud music all night. Not a great experience.

The hotel seemed excellent from the lobby, which is as far as we got. There was no reservation in our name from Expedia. The desk manager made one but the room rate was $60 higher than Expedia quoted and we were the told that the pet fee for our 2 Chihuahuas was going to be $75 per night, per dog! The total would have been just over $300 per night plus fees and taxes. Ridiculous!

How did anyone taste this give stars? And those reviews were Why i chose this property and ended up really disappointed. Check in went OK other than the sigh from the clerk when i had to pause and add money to my card not expecting to pay full up front (my fault for being used to just an incidental hold until check out). That sigh was unnecessary and embarrassing in front of the people behind us. The room cleanliness was.... ok. Carpets looked worn which I didn't expect . The room itself was also OK. Cold water the first night when bath was ran but seemed to only happen that night fortunately. Well stocked on towels was nice. The beds were well made up with plenty of pillows but surprisingly uncomfortable. The fridge was difficult to put leftover boxes in with no bottom shelf. The pool was very good and the area cleaned. Breakfast was also very good and kept well stocked. The only not good was the cold coffee in the dispensers. Snack machine wouldn't take a five so i asked the desk for change. Night shift informed me they had no money to be able to do change. Very disappointing and a bit confusing how they were "left with no money" by day shift. The parking area was OK... the driveway in, the Only driveway in, was horrible and pothole filled! You can only enter by driving though the vacant lot in front where there's an empty building. Overall I can't rate past 3. As frequent travelers we were ask pretty disappointed. And the massive upcharge for weekend nigh
