In general, this hotel is pretty run down, but it worked for a one night midway stop on our way to & from Florida. The ratings were misleading, but the price was acceptable. The bed/bedding was comfortable, however the chair was very dirty. Breakfast was disappointing, with items to put in the toaster being the only "hot" options.

Reception was friendly and efficient. The hotel is older but appears to have been renovated. Some of the furniture has seen better days and my non-smoking room smelled of smoke, although not strongly enough for me to complain. The bed was comfortable, which is important to me. Breakfast was fairly basic: cereal, bagels, pre-packaged Danish, pre-packaged mini-sausage biscuits, yogurt cups and bananas. Other than the smell of smoke in the room, a comfortable stay.

The staff was the best part. All outdoor entrances. The "upgrades" were a new sink faucet. Tiniest breakfast. Bathroom door took up half the room. Weird smell.

Hotel is not extravagant but is clean, bed very comfortable and had everything you needed. Location right off 1-75 lots of food and restaurants and quiet area.
