Disappointed

The positive, Close to Holiday World. After long day got to room. Although no emergency happened the smoke detector just had wires hanging out. When turned back the covers blood on the sheets. The room and hallway smelled musky, Only one person working the desk. The breakfast, options are fine for continental but it was ran chaotically. They didn’t keep what was offered filled, such as eggs & sausage. I truly sound like a complainer but typically I rarely do. For the price of the room and the brand of hotel, I expected more.

Nice hotel for the price. Good location for those visiting Holiday World in Santa Claus, Indiana. Internet connection was unstable and when it was working, wasn't good.

We had a decent room to lay our heads after driving fifteen minutes back from Holiday World. The shower, toilet, sink, fridge, and AC all worked well. The bathroom needs some work to be more presentable, but it met our needs. The breakfast was decent. We enjoyed the waffles. The sausage looked a little odd so we didn’t try it. Would prefer milk in its original containers instead of pitchers so we could see the expiration date. Small carton milk like at schools would be preferred. The coffee was not good. It was bitter and the creamer didn’t help. There was only half and half, which is ok with good coffee, but when it’s not good coffee I would prefer flavored creamer. There wasn’t a Starbucks or any other coffee spot nearby so we attempted to make the most of it. The employees are all nice. Helpful, smiled, and provided a good experience. One suggestion…if you are running a hotel in an English speaking country it would be beneficial to you to be more fluent in English. Again, all of the employees were good, communication was just a little difficult.

Carpet in room & hallways super dirty; had to put sheets on the floor to walk w/o shoes it was that gross Sofa sleeper so grossly dirty - needs replaced; had to cover arm rests & back cushions w/sheets Elevator has very hard stoppage/landing that felt unsafe Used stairwell to avoid elevator & the carpet was in need of vacuuming & deep carpet cleaning WIFI connection was not working unless in lobby Front desk staff was nice but will not stay at a Baymont again

Family trip.

Had a great 3 day stay. Perfect for us. Close to Holiday World. Only about 10 minute drive each day. Great pool, great service. Breakfast was ok, good selection, just ran out of hot items quick. Hotel was clean, just needs new carpets throughout. Will stay again.

The toliet did not work most of the time. I ended up taking the lid to the tank off the toliet and flushed it that way. The hotel lobbey smelled. The stairway to get to our room also smelled. The elevator made a loud nosie every time it went up. It scared my entire family. The mini fridge was not cold. I had to atore my food in a cooler. I am glad I brought a cooler. The pool had a layer of flim around it. The ladder in the deep end only had one step. It would of been nice if there was a bathroom in the pool area. We only stayed here because it was not too far from Holiday World. I think it was also over priced for all the issues we had.

Lobby had a terrible smell when walking in, rooms need updated, and television service was terrible. Tried using Amazon app on the tv and it just constantly buffered. Would definitely not stay here again unless the rooms get some tlc.

This hotel is in desperate need of a remodel. The hotel waw clean, but had a smell. Everything is outdated and the breakfast was simple. I will stay in Owensboro for our next visit.

We walked into our room and immediately saw a bed bug crawling on the pillow on the bed. We went to request another room in which they accommodated only to find bed bugs on the walls, under the sheets and in the bathroom. The room was completely infested. The front desk lady was very understanding but when calling the owner or manager they seemed to be resisting her giving us a refund. We will not return to this location on the future.

Dirty and overpriced

This property is rundown and poorly cleaned. Leaky faucets, broken pieces in the shower, broken fridge, long hairs left behind from previous guests. Booking through this site apparently meant that I couldn’t alter my reservation without cancelling entirely and rebooking which led to a much higher nightly price than when I originally booked. Others in my group had obviously stained bedding and no a/c. Would not stay here again.

The hotel was very dirty. The hallway and stairs looked like they had never been swept and our rooms had no AC on when we checked in, so the rooms were very hot and took forever to cool down. Breakfast was mediocre and didn’t have many choices. We will not be going back.
