Horrible Experience

The hotel charge $32 usd when I arrived for “incidentals” including a “pantry in the hall”. There was no choice. The pantry consisted of a water tap, and a coffee machine that was broken. I checked another floor and same thing.

Management is terrible. Up charged me a resort fee that was not advertised. Stated the resort fee was for amenities such as a coffee machine on each floor. Ours never worked. They had me go to another floor. That coffee machine was out of coffee beans. One of the two elevators was out of commission. I requested refund for resort fee. They refused to let go of that cash grab. They asked how they could make things right. I told them that waiving the resort fee up charge was first choice, and second was a food credit at their restaurant. They did not respond. Very poor management. I love Burlington but will never return to that hotel. I am a Hilton Honors member. Hotel Champlain makes me question my loyalty to the Hilton chain of hotels.

We got into our room late housekeeping was behind we go to sit in the restaurant so my wife could do some computer work and where pushednout of there while we waited for our room ,the shower was cold no hot water . The paint job on the bathroom you should ask for a refund. But the Bartenders where great guys

I didn’t have hot water despite running the shower for 10 minutes. Was told twice engineers were looking it. Hot tub was dirty with brown scum around edges; pool water murky. Drawer of the bureau kept opening and didn’t stay shut. Management didn’t address hot water issue during my stay nor did hey contact me. Hilton was my go to place in Burlington- not sure I will stay again.
