The resort is in a great location—very close to shops, attractions, and nightlife. It’s also super convenient to get around using bikes, and there are plenty of options to rent scooters and jeeps, which made exploring easy and enjoyable.
Unfortunately, the customer service seriously took away from the experience. The waitstaff, especially at the pool bar, were consistently rude and inattentive. Getting drink refills required asking multiple times, and even placing a food order was a hassle. On one occasion, we ordered food at the pool and waited for a long time. When my husband finally flagged down the waiter to ask about our order, she caught an attitude and told us we never ordered. We reminded her that we did and that she had written it down. Eventually, she returned with only half of our food. When we asked about the fries that were missing, she told us there were no fries left and that they were closing in 10 minutes. No apology, no effort to make it right.
Staffing seems to be a major issue, particularly in the pool area. They should hire more employees to better accommodate guests, as the current setup clearly isn’t working.
We also had issues with basic room service. We called the lobby to request face towels, but they never arrived. I ultimately had to go down to the lobby myself to ask for them.
Overall, while the location and transportation options are a big plus, the poor customer service and lack of responsiveness make it hard to recommend this resort.
