McLaren Vale luxury accommodation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Stamford Grand at Glenelg. The location is perfect; right on the beach, close to everything, including the convenient tram to the CBD. The hotel, our room and staff were outstanding.

Great location - very central

We were on the 19th floor and noise from what we think was the aircon system was unbearable

Overall experience was good. Hotel was very friendly. Rooms needed more attention

Yes laundry service was good no real shops near by but the walk was good

The hotel is very stylish. The Art Deco theme is carried through the exterior, the lobby, the hallways, and the rooms. My room was attractive and comfortable. But it had no view and very little natural light -- admittedly, some rooms probably fare better on those scores. Minibar had interesting options. Drinking water was provided at start of stay but then not replenished. Overall, I liked, but did not love my stay. Still, a very solid choice. The hotel is in an excellent location, right off North Terrace, where many attractions are located, and close to Hindry/Rundle streets with tons of food options and entertainment.
