Property and room was nice. In a great location. I was very disappointment to have booked a room for 3 guests (2adults and 1 child) but only had 1 bed. When asked where the 2nd bed was they wanted to charge me an additional bed fee after I had already paid the additional guest fee when booking. No resolution was offered.

Nice to stay

Nice hotel in Adelaide. A little dated but overall very nice. No USB ports in the power outlets in the room i stayed in. No big deal but would be nice to have in the room.

Excellent hotel. Reception staff were fantastic. Changed us from a city view to a parkland view which was so thoughtful of them. Room was a good size and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Would definitely stay here again

Good location, friendly staff, rooms a bit dated.

The property is in a good central location and is very nice in the public areas such as the lobby and restaurant. Unfortunately the rooms are getting very tired and dated and need a freshen up for sure. All the staff we came across were nice and friendly and helpful. The one thing i would recommend changing is with your breakfast package, you need to include 1 free barista coffee per person per breakfast, the automatic coffee machine puts out terrible coffee!

We paid extra for a park view room, but on level 7 the view was obscured by Parliament House, only room above level 10 should be sold as park view. Only 2 out of 3 elevators worked, with elevator 1 being disfunctional for a considerable time (I was told months). During our stay elevator 3 broke down twice. Staff failed to communicate effectively to guests, unlock fire doors to allow guests to walk to their floors, nor direct staff to assist guests with the 2 goods elevators. Guests were left waiting for elevator 2 for up to half an hour, with no signage advising the problem. No compensation was offered (such as cab charges) and many guests were late to appointments and some could have missed flights. Our room had no Do not disturb sign. House keeping knocked while i was in bed, and I dressed and asked them to return in 2 hours, however they never returned and our room was not made up. We were not checking out that day, so I can't understand why our room was prioritised. Overall, staff need to be trained how to manage circumstances arising from poor maintenance and communicate to guests the problem and a solution.
