Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable about the local area, but he also took the time to offer personalized recommendations for things to do, from hidden gem restaurants to unique local attractions we wouldn’t have found on our own. The Homestead never disappoints. However this time they were understaffed in many areas therefore making communication difficult, service at restaurants, checkout/bellman availability, valet very backed up. Going this was just a busy weekend for them and not a regular reality.

The choices for dinner are very limited - it’s mostly the Jefferson and the Audubon. The food choices are quite pricey, e.g., $75 for Filet Mignon. Soups and salad side dishes are mostly $16-$21. The activity choices are many, which is important. The warm springs are very soothing and relaxing. Overall, a good vacation.

The Omni Homestead is a beautiful and historic facility. The pricing on everything is a bit over the top, especially with what you pay to stay there. The food could have been better but property is beautiful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We enjoyed a nice family trip and our grandchildren had plenty to do.
