Do not stay here - not that cheap anyway

Smell of marijuana & cigarettes entire stay on our floor-the 2nd floor & it crept into our room. Very dark, dingy hallways. Slider door was unlocked to our balcony. Stains all over bathroom wall. Carpet dirty. Entire hotel dirty, esp elevators which had the same ice cream debris in it during our 2 night stay. Dead bird on entry walkway entire time we were there. Washer & dryer looked like it needed to be washed & dried. Only clean as a whistle area was the breakfast area. When we went to complain about the cig & pot smell the front desk said they would investigate & find the culprits & kick them out & fine them $250 which obviously didn’t happen as we smelt it our entire stay. Not a single hand towel during our stay & had to use washcloths to dry our hands.

The room was comfortable & I love the balcony, had a nice pool view. The breakfast was great and the area was very quiet considering there’s a Waffle House in the hotel lot. Would definitely stay here again!

It’s very outdated, I have never had the whole stay and security held in my card at check in . It was overpriced for what rooms looked like . I know it was the music festival but that was ridiculous .

I didn’t have any food except the free breakfast which was ok. Pretty standard. The room was kind of clean, kept smelling cigarette smoke and the carpet looked dirty. The towel rack was held up by tinfoil.

County Inn & Suites - Erlanger, KY

Country Inn is a very comfortable and affordable hotel in the greater Cincinnati area. It's conveniently located off the highway in an area that my family felt safe. Dining and attractions are close and easy to drive to. The hotel is structurally well kept with a nice sized pool in the back and the room was clean when we checked in. The free breakfast offered tasty items both hot and cold. I usually had eggs and a self prepared waffle. The only real draw back is that you have to request to have room service come to your room if you are staying multiple days. It used to be the norm for hotels to have room service clean rooms and replace towels everyday. I understand that this isn't common practice any longer, but it's still a hassle to have to go to the desk and actually request that the room you're paying for to be cleaned.

I like the spacious room we had. However, since Covid I think housekeeping SHOULD BE DONE DAILY instead of every 3rd day. In our room there was hair(NOT OURS😳) on the toilet and inside the tub, also on the floor. The AC unit had VERY VISIBLE DUST ON THE OUTSIDE 😳😳😳. If we visit the area next year, we might consider going somewhere else because for the money we shouldn’t have our room be like this

Check in wasn’t terrible but I was asked if I needed a mobility room, even though I booked it as a mobility room. I’m sure there was not malaise behind it because the check in person did explain sometimes 3rd party apps put people in those rooms, but I just hated having to explain it. The room was very dirty. We did ask for new sheets and we were offered a different room, but again I needed a mobility room so I was afraid what else we would get. Once we changed the sheets and wiped everything down it wasn’t horrible. I do want to emphasize we weren’t expecting a lot but we were left unimpressed in the cleanliness of the facility. I will have to say the breakfast area was kept very clean and had a lot of choices so that’s a plus. Honestly I feel like I had a fever dream eating breakfast because it did not reflect the rest of the stay.

The breakfast had lots of variety but the appliances did not work well. The room looked in good condition, but there were beads (garbage) on the floor from previous customers and the bathroom had broken tiles and tub, but it still worked for our purposes. The only issue we experienced was that the room was very warm/humid upon arrival and the A/C unit did not cool below 70 degrees, although the controls would reflect the lower temp.

The rooms are in need of detail dusting and cleaning, especial over the headboards, light fixtures, over every door and the windows needs cleaning. The curtains needs to be replaced. There is a need to add more luggage carts.
