I rented two double queen rooms. The rooms are roomy and mostly clean it does have a funny moldy like smell in them the wooden furniture has broken pieces near the bottom and the wooden part under bathroom sink was kinda gross. the staff was friendly, however on the first floor (ground level)our room faced the parking lot and the only curtain that closed was the white see through curtains, which was uncomfortable to me. the telephone in the room didn't work, water pressure in the bathroom sucks, one of the bathroom lights was out, the reading lights by the bed didn't work. The tv sits at end of one bed the person in other bed had hard time watching it. There was an area with a comfy couch and a desk. Parking lot is easy to get into but crowded. They offer internet but i didn't try to use it so don't know how well it worked.

WATCH YOUR BANK ACCOUNT

This stay was just okay. Not terrible, not good. The room was okay, bed was comfortable and looked clean. The other seating in the room was all stained so we did not use them. The bathroom was dated, tub was stained but looked cleanish. But the carpet!! By the time you walk from the bathroom to the bed the bottom of your feet are filthy. The carpet was sticky and disgusting. We had to step out of bed into our shoes to walk around. I normally always wear socks in hotels, but i’ve never felt carpet that literally had a stickiness to it like this. But the icing on the cake was the “accidental charges!” The minute I checked out, literally the exact minute. My account was charged an additional $54 on top of the $50 already being held. I called the next morning when I saw it and they said it was an accident and they would credit it back. Now almost a week later I have $104 gone from my account and still waiting on the credit to hit my account. They were far from apologetic about it. So, if you choose to stay here for convenience to the university- bring house shoes, and WATCH YOUR BANK ACCOUNT.

All staff deserve Kudos!! They were professional, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. The star ratings only allow straight forward ratings. The facility and the room were clean and deserve a rating of about 8.5 - 9.0. Numerous dining options are within 2-3 miles and easily accessible by car.

Never refurbished hotel

The lady at the checkin was rude, she couldn’t figure out how to properly answer our questions. We went to our rooms and couldn’t breathe due to mildew and heat. We got new rooms but carpet was terrible, our socks were black in minutes. Old hotel and not kept up. Several people were complaining. One even left and couldn’t get their money back. The cleaning lady and the lady over breakfast were both very nice. Would never stay here again.
