We booked on Expedia a month in advance- upon on arrival the manager could not locate our reservation until I gave him our confirmation number. He then sent us to our ‘assigned’ room only for the key card to reject entry. My husband walked back down to the front desk where he rescanned the keys and sent my husband back upstairs. The keys still did not work so- here he goes again. Mind you this is midnight and we are exhausted. The manager came up with his master unlock key card tool and then we heard screaming from inside “you have the wrong room!” Turns out our room had been given away. We waited another 20 minutes for the issue to be resolved and a room found for us. We did not get our king size bed as reserved, but at that point we didn’t care. To the poor lady frightened by this mix up, I am so sorry management was inept and unorganized! As we waited, we heard multiple complaints from other guests, unmade beds, ladder and paints in one room and rooms assigned to them were NOT what they reserved. Holiday Inn- do better!!!
