Not a good stay. We had to check in late due to horrible traffic on 35. We booked 2 rooms, the boys where in one room the girls in another. My girls were originally given the Room key and # of a Room that was occupied by men, which was terrifying at 11pm at night. Room 314 the shower was broken, phone was broken. Breakfast was not as advertised, instant eggs, waffle mix was sour. Why were the reviews so good we were here to tour A&M . We were in rooms 119 which smelled horrible and 314. Not what I expect with wyndam. My wife reported the issues to the front desk and I sent a message via Hotels.com, 24 hours later no one has tried to make this right. Manager is never on duty.

The room wasn’t clean upon arrival and was missing many of the basics….one of the attendants had to get missing items out of empty rooms. Breakfast was sparse, all of the juices in the machine weren’t working and was overall not that great. The entire hotel smelled old and musty. I should have followed my first mind and went to another hotel after checking in.

We arrived at the hotel at 1:15 a.m. and were told they needed to check the room to see if it was ready, which made no sense since check-in time is 3:00 p.m. The staff member then brought towels down, making it obvious that someone had been staying in that room before us. The room was in terrible condition. There was a constant ticking sound all night, and the air conditioner barely worked. When I brought up the issues, the woman who checked us in blamed the company I booked through and said it wasn’t the hotel’s fault. The room was dirty — silverware still had food stuck on it, there was a wet towel hanging up, and the fold-out bed wouldn’t stay up, repeatedly falling down. I was told there were clean sheets in the closet, but the sheets on the bed were clearly dirty. I have pictures of dirt on the walls, ceiling, and the broken bed. If it hadn’t been almost 1:45 a.m. by the time we finally got into the room, and if we didn’t have to be up at 7:00 a.m. for my son’s track meet, we would have left and stayed somewhere else. Overall, this hotel deserves zero stars.

No staff was really around, only seen them when we were checking in or someone else was checking in or out. Room was clean, towels were clean. They could use some new pillows and the sofa bed could need an upgrade as well. Would definitely consider staying here again. Great location, near food places and stores walking distance.
