Complete disappointment

I took my daughter on a weekend trip to Silverwood, with a stay at Motel 6 before heading back home. When we arrived and checked in, I noticed a smoke smell in the room. We had booked a non-smoking room, so I called the front desk. She assured me it was a non-smoking room. However there were three ashtrays in the room and a definite, overwhelming smell of smoke. I asked for a new room, and was told there was nothing available. My choices were basically tough it out, or drive all the way home (other hotels in the area were either booked or twice as expensive). So, at 10pm we started the long drive home- in the dark, and totally exhausted. Something like this should NEVER have happened. I will never stay at Motel 6 again.

First lady was very rude. I told her I was missing a bag of stuff that I left last time and she told me after 28 days they throw it out and that it had only been 8 days since I was last there. Never got room service. People above was really noisy. I stay at the motel cause it’s convenient to where I dock for patrolling for the Coast Guard auxiliary., but this trip was a real disappointments

Overall value was good, however the heater in the room woke us up frequently, it was extremely noisy when running. Also the toilet seat is inches too large for the toilet and the room was not ADA compliant and was very difficult for my disabled husband to use.

They called me from the front desk with in the first half hour of checking in to make sure room was to our liking. I have never had that happen before. Most appreciated. Beds were very comfortable. Would stay again.

The room was dirty. The mattress was way too soft. There were dogs barking at 10 PM and people talking loudly by my window. I could hear people above me. The floor has separations that pinched my feet. The USB port was dead, and it is just a very dingy dated hotel room. Even the towels are just worn out and need to be replaced.
