Cool weather get away

The neighborhood was quiet, the house was as described. Very clean. The only issue we had is the beds were too hard/firm for our liking, but if you like a firm bed, then no issue. Also, we would have liked to be able to get the live television so that we could watch the football games. Other than those two issues, it was a lovely place!

Lovely home

This is a beautiful place to call home during your vacation. The home and yard are well maintained. Most of the comforts of home are available. One thing that would be nice would have been to have a dresser in the bedrooms. The owners were very easy to get in touch with. Another big plus to this house is a covered front porch and a large deck with a fire pit. For those who like the mountains in cold weather, this home has a fireplace.

Great location for shopping in Waynesville & Maggie Valley

The home was well stocked with sheets and kitchen appliances, as well as laundry. The decks on both front and back were beautiful. House was very clean and very functional. Gated front porch worked beautifully as a staging area for the dogs to get their leashes on to go potty

Great Location

This property was clean, and had a nice porch and yard. Simple furnishings and decor - which I loved that it wasn't cluttered. Large space. Great Location for the lake and Waynesville/Maggie area! Owner communicated quickly.

Great mountain getaway for small family

This house was great for our small family. It is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for our week-long stay. Property owner was easily reachable and responsive. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to cook a lot of our family meals for the week. The beds are very firm, so if you prefer a softer bed, bring a mattress pad for a better night's sleep.

Cozy retreat near Lake Junaluska golf course

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was very clean and it was furnished simply, but tastefully and thoughtfully. It has easy access , but we had to drive wherever we wanted to go. It is conveniently located between Waynesville and Lake Junaluska. There is a lovely porch in the front of the house, but it suffers from traffic noise. The owners are responsive, and the property is as advertised.

Very nice Vrbo!

We had a wonderful stay here! Host was very nice and always got right back to me! There was even a bottle of wine when we arrived! We were in town for a wedding! Fantastic location! Easy access to everything!

My family has vacationed in the area over Thanksgiving for the last 20 years. Due to Covid, we had to postpone our trip and move it to the 8th (which happened to be my birthday!). Janet was incredibly understanding and helpful with that. I have Cerebral Palsy so was very pleasantly surprised to find a house with a ramp and a walk-in shower, for easier access for me. (The shower doesn't have a seat, though, so if you need one, plan on bringing it). When we arrived, there was a bottle of wine waiting for us. The house is beautiful and laid out nicely. We spent a good bit of time on both decks, enjoying the scenery. The ONLY thing that even slightly bothered me was the noise from a road nearby that is busy at times, but that was minimal and only because I was craving silence. Lol. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. It fit our little family perfectly--my husband and I, our son, daughter-in-law, a 3 year old and an infant. I would highly recommend this place.

Perfect Fit

The home is spacious, well-appointed and comfortable. It has a split floor plan which is great for guests. The 2 outdoor entertainment spaces are large and inviting. And, the location is perfect...close to everything: Lake Junaluska, Ingle's/Publix, downtown Waynesville. Janet, the host, is friendly and very responsive. We loved our stay and will be back for another week in July, 2022. Can't wait! Thanks much.

Great location and well equipped

The house is in great condition, clean and equipped with everything we needed. Location is probably the best ascpect of it. Close to Lake Junaluska and less than a 1 hour drive to pretty much anywhere we wanted to go around the Smoky Mountains National Park and Asheville. Highly recommended.

We have stayed in the area plenty of times before, but this location was by far our favorite place. The home was perfect for our family. Clean, quiet, comfy and gorgeous! Host was amazing from start to end, we can’t wait to visit again and stay. Grab a coffee and sit on the porch every morning and take in the scenery, this is what life is about!

My husband had emergency surgery and we were unable to travel and my brother in law stayed in our place . The home was excellent with large yard, the cleanest VRBO they had every stayed at, the owner was amazing and accommodating.
