Overall we enjoyed our stay. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the whirlpool in the bathroom, one of many reasons we booked the Director's Suite. Everything was overall clean. Some minor complaints, the lighting was not the best and several lightbulbs were out, there was no updated charging stations in the room and the clock which did have outdated charging abilities did not work at all as the outlets in this room seemed to also need to be replaced as the plugs wouldn't stay in without expert maneuvering and there was no hotel documentation about amenities, room service etc. that you generally get. Maybe there was a TV channel but I did not notice. Check-in line was a little long and there could have been more representatives working on a Friday night to check everyone in. However, still worth it to book and all in all a good stay and we will be back again.

Room number 20-100 Directors suite. Very comfortable, clean over and under. Comfortable bed with quality linen’s. We travel with a blue UV light and everything including but not limited to switch plate covers, remote controls, toilet ect were clean. When you find a room in this condition , it provides piece of mind that you’re getting what you pay for. Kudos to your house cleaning crew Fox Woods. Unfortunately this is not the Foxwoods that we remember from numerous times staying there. Staffing has been drastically cut and the machines we came to play mainly Wizard of Oz and Willy Wonker were gone from all casinos. The Rainmaker casino is a desert absolutely depressing from what it used to be. The other casinos are overcrowded with old slot machines which seem to be dark and dingy and lack appeal. I used to love the walk past all the small stores that lined the main hallways, only one store remains. They’ve moved some of the stores into the Tanger outlet which is unimpressive in my opinion as I’m not a mall shopper. The restaurants were a hit mainly David Burke for breakfast and Sugar factory. Both excellent choices. The golden dragon was hands down one of the most out of touch Chinese restaurants We’ve ever eaten in. For the price you would think they would provide a small pot of tea on the table!? The cuisine was not what we consider good oriental food. Our local takeout blows that place away.

Nice, quick mini-vaca to get out of the cold! My husband and I traveled to Foxwoods to kind of break up the monotony of January. Great that all my walking was indoors, restaurants were awesome and we built in our casino losses as part of the trip! (Although we didn’t lose too much!😊) Hardrock Cafe, also a great place to hang out for lunch - folks were friendly and we feel like we got that break we were looking for!

I like that it is really easy to park with valet parking! We went to Juniors for lunch the prices were so ridiculous for a sandwich I couldn’t believe it. I know we were in the casino but come on! I’m really tired of people charging outrageous prices just because they can. I prefer Mohegan Sun!
