Room was damp and smelly! Luckily we brought our own fan to keep the air moving. Decoration on the wall above bed iliterally fell off on one side. Was hanging on one side. When running the shower a big ball of black hair came out of the drain and into the tub. Very gross!! Will not return there and will not suggest anyone else to.

Disgusting, filthy pool - beware!!

The worst part of this hotel was the filthy, murky pool. It was so bad we lost one of our diving toys because we literally could not see through the water. The pool is a health hazard that likely caused my daughter diarrhea. It significantly affected our stay as the pool is often a highlight. The maintenance said the pool had been like that for months which is disgraceful. It should have been addressed right away. Disgusting.

The morning breakfast was awesome! They have a waffle station where you can pour batter and make your own big waffle or four mini waffles. My kids loved that. They had sausage patties and eggs. A toast station with peanut butter and butter and jam and some cereal selections and a nice coffee station. The indoor pool was what attracted me to this hotel but when I took my kids the room where the pool was smelled humid and musty. And the water was ice cold. The blankets in the room were itchy and very thin. The staff was nice. The snack store at the front desk was reasonably priced and had a good selection. In walking distance to a gas station, dispensary and restaurants so that was nice if you don’t have a car while traveling.

Gave our daughter and grandchildren a weekend vacation at Cedar Pointe. Booked Quality Inn in Sandusky for their stay. They decided to leave right away when they noticed the room to be dirty with a foul odor. Swimming pool which the kids were eager to use was described as cloudy, dirty which prohibited them from using it. Staff at the front desk were not accommodating at all! Didn't even offer to move them to another room. Terrible hotel!!!

Our room was filthy, there were stains on the bedding, our floor was not vacuumed, the bathroom door was falling off, the walls are paper thin & you can hear everything in the room surrounding you, the breakfast is the same every single day. The manager made a mistake & while we were at the theme park, left me a message telling me I still have items in the room and they need to be removed because I wasn’t supposed to be staying there even though I was paid through the next day. She threatened to physically remove all the items from the room & charge us an additional nights stay. When we returned to the hotel & I listened to the voice message I immediately went to the front desk to address the situation, the supervisor at the front desk was not empathetic about the situation at all, but did contact the manager. She advised the supervisor on duty she made a mistake, & there was a computer error. She never left me another voice message so that I did not have to worry. The only communication she had with me was threatening to remove all of my property from the room & charge me additional fees because she needed my items out of the room as soon as possible. It was an extremely rude & threatening voicemail. Considering there was no apology from the manager or action afterwards letting me know they made a mistake I would highly recommend not staying at this hotel. There were other patrons in the lobby they were refusing to check-in who paid as well.
