Hotel was outdated. Room was ok could have been cleaner. The front desk workers were excellent. I guess no hotel cleans your room during your stay anymore. The pool was not well lit. Water temp was good.

The hotel is located on the main street, though it is quite far from downtown. The lobby is welcoming, and the front desk staff were polite and helpful. We liked the balcony in our room—it offered a nice, low view that was pleasant to relax on. However, the room itself felt outdated. The linens on the bed appeared wrinkled, and the blanket was of poor quality. The beach area was also disappointing. It was in poor condition, with mismatched furniture scattered all over the place, which took away from the otherwise beautiful lake view. Overall, it’s a decent place to stay if you’re mainly planning to be outdoors and just need a place to sleep.

The bathroom wasn't cleaned properly. The tub/ shower needed to be cleaned. They came in our room only to empty trash and place towels. The bed wasn't made. That's sub standard service at best. Teach your maids how to clean a room. Use a vacuum please.

After reading many reviews I was nervous about this hotel but ultimately booked because of the space. The ok- the beach is weedy and rocky in the sand and the seagulls are gross. The kids still played in the water and were fine! Hotel needs updating and a deep cleaning would help. Ice maker on the floor didn’t work, no daily housekeeping but I think if you ask, they will bring you new items. The good - the room has great space, clean, can control the AC, the window opens, balcony is great to sit on! The lake is clear, water’s cold but refreshing.

We loved the suite with a balcony view! Staff was kind and courteous. Wished the beach and fire pits had been tidied a bit each day. Many beach chairs were broken and some were left in lake overnight.

The first room they gave us had bed bugs. The second room they gave us we were on a floor with the rudest, loudest, inconsiderate people that were screaming, fighting, slamming doors, running down the hallway til 4 in the morning. Smelled like Marijuana.

The hotel was nice and close to everything. It definitely needs some upgrades. The windows and floors were dirty. There were pieces of tile that had fallen off the wall. The room had a smell to it. The chlorine smell in the pool area was so bad we couldn’t be there for longer than 5-10 minutes it caused our eyes to burn and water terribly.

Room had a musky smell we stayed 4 nights asked for clean towels on the second day never got any. Carpet needs to be cleaned walked around in white socks pretty sure there trash now. Beach wash very dirty. Bottles laying by the burn Pitts from the first day we were there. Cans and trash every where

Good stay for a Family

This hotel worked really well for our needs on a recent long weekend trip to the area. We liked that the room had 2 separate sleeping areas and plenty of space. The balcony view of the lake was also very enjoyable. The staff at the front desk were very kind and helpful. This hotel is a bit dated and could use some upgrades to the rooms and common areas. Two areas in particular would be the beach area (clean up the sand, remove trash, maintenance of the outdoor furniture, etc.) and the fact that there is no where in the hotel to get any kind of food (except for vending machines).

Property was fine. Fit our family of five but was very old and kinda dirty. Beach was very messy and not great to hang out at (muddy and trashy with crazy levels of mosquitos at night). The firepits on the beach were cool but if anyone had a fire going, it meant the balcony was off limits unless you wanted to smell like smoke. I’d stay here again if I had to, but it was a bit too rundown and dirty for the price. The staff was great though and overall it felt safe. Just needs a refresh.
