I had a pleasant stay, but my interaction when checking-in left me feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable. I stood there for a moment before I was even acknowledged, and the gentleman seemed bothered that I was there. The interaction wasn’t very professional, and almost passive aggressive, which is a shame as I have stayed here before and had an excellent experience. I believe his name was Daniel.

Everything was great. Rooms are always clean. Only issue is that the Tavern/Bar closes so early -always. They need to keep Tavern Food Available till 10pm and have bar close at 11pm. I always have to go outside to another Hotel that stays open later.

The Double Tree is very clsoe to UVM hospital and that was the reason for the choice. It was fine.

All was fine and good location. Only negative comments: the heater was very loud. It also blew the curtains open and the blinds didn’t stay closed so lots of bright light all night. And bathroom door bottom was rotting - not an issue, just unsightly.

Daniel who was working the front desk was extremely kind and helpful. The room was spotless and very spacious. The beds and pillows were extremely soft and comfortable. This will be where I stay when I come back for sure!
