Property needs attention frankly - outside carpeted areas are dirty, needing sweeping and vacuuming regularly. The sink and tub drains were very slow to drain. The shower head is caked with calcification and didn't spray well. Room needs hooks near bathroom for towels. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast is very 70s, and you could easily add some whole grain breads, cereals and greek yogurts for little additional cost.

Comfortable beds, clean room, but drains were clogged, shower head needed replacement as it was quite calcified, exterior walkways quite dirty, breakfast not great. Add some whole grain breads, cereals, greek yogurts, fruit to breakfast items.

Staff were friendly and helpful but the room was disgusting and neglected. Carpeting was filthy and walls were cracked and peeling. Had to pay an extra $30 for a pet yet the dog area out front was full of dog poop.

The room was large and clean. They had great customer service. We would have used the hot tub had it been working but it wasn't and we didn't feel up to going to going to their partner motel down the street, although that was available. For the price I fwlt it was a good value.

I love the Salida Inn! Staff is friendly, rooms are clean, sheets are soft. My only complaint is the hot tub is very small and wouldn’t get hot (stayed at 94 degrees).

Staff was nice. Easy check in. Lodge could definitely use some upgrades. Old carpets would be first thing I’d remove. They’re a little smelly and have seen better years. Furniture is beat up. Hot tub is in a weird spot (my opinion) so didn’t take advantage of it. Bed was comfy (firm which is what I like).You can easily drive to Downtown Salida from here so good location. Would recommend if you’re not looking to stay in room much and just need a bed to crash. I’ve stayed in other spots in Salida and to be honest, they are not that much different so you’ll be fine staying here.

The staff was kind and friendly however we didn’t have water for a period of time. The hot tub was warm at best and when we came back to the room to warm up on our jetted tub, that water was cold. The beds were uncomfortable and the pillows were uncomfortable. We stayed for two days and woke up with neck and back pain. The back deck had broken planks so we were afraid to walk in them. I wish I could give a better review but I must be honest.

Room was very cold. Inverter heater was incapable of warming it up. It was 60 degrees when we got into the room. We turned the heat up to maximum and the room had only warmed to 66 when we checked out the next morning. Room did have 3 queen beds as promised. Room condition was so-so at best.
