My husband and I were spending our first anniversary weekend here, and when we arrived the first night, for the most part everything seemed fine and the receptionist was very friendly. She let us know that the sliding door might not be working in the room and advised us that we may be able to get a discount through the site we used (Expedia) for that, which was lovely! We had no problems with this, and were enjoying our night until after I'd fallen asleep, my husband woke me up to show me he had found a bed bug in the bed, when I saw it it was crawling across his pillow. We took pictures and left immediately, tried to contact the front desk but it was about half past midnight so no one was available. We found another hotel to stay in and came back the next day to explain the situation, the same receptionist was there and was very friendly and understanding again, and immediately worked to issue a refund through Expedia. The experience with the bed bugs was horrible, and after we realized there had been other reviews of bed bugs prior, but we had not read them. I'm giving 2 stars only because the lady in the office remained kind and professional throughout the ordeal, however I cannot recommend anyone to stay in this hotel knowing that they have bed bugs!
