The lighting in the room was awful. The bathtub was so tall i bad to have help getting in and out. I do have physical issues. These issues were part of the reason for the problem. The breakfast was great. The staff was great. The motel was very old and need a new update.

A little getaway

Old hotel in great location. Able to walk to shops and restaurants downtown. Our room was spacious and appointed with new modern furnishings, but the room needed a deep cleaning- dusty baseboards and handprints on bathroom door, candy wrapper under the bed. Good, basic hot breakfast and fresh fruit, an added bonus. Friendly and helpful staff. Just an overall feeling of not being well-maintained in exterior appearance and landscaping. A bottle of wine and Happy Anniversary card was an unexpected treat!

The Meadowbrook is a good price point, safe, and walking distance to everything fun on Main Street. The complimentary breakfast is also a plus. A few cons are the vending machines either never work or take your money, the ceiling tiles in the rooms are stained and need a desperate cleaning, the walls are paper thin making it difficult to sleep as you always hear your neighbors, and there’s a strange and rather loud water dripping noise coming from the bathroom ceilings that might be the air units. We have stayed multiple times due to the great price and family friendly atmosphere, but the Inn would greatly benefit from some updates.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. Nice to have the indoor pool but wish it was warmer. Didnt like hearing water trickle through pipes in the closet all the time. Beds and pillows weren't as comfortable.

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic town.

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic town. Just stayed one night on a family road trip down on the Blue Ridge Parkway, but definitely planning a trip where we stay longer. It’s within walking distance of great restaurants. We personally loved thr blowing rock brewery.
