We loved our stay at Meadowbrook Inn. It was quiet and walkable to anything we needed in Blowing Rock. We enjoyed our room and how spacious it was. The open air patio was perfect for us to watch the snow fall and the fireplace kept us warm!

Room was spotless and staff very friendly and helpful. Only complaint was a loud whirling sound came from ceiling in bathroom…kept me up…talked to front desk and they said it may have been their HAVAC?

The amenities I paid for included WiFi and I was unable to use it the entirety of my stay. Not because it was down or messed up but because the quality of internet service was insufficient. This wouldn’t typically be a big deal but I also had no service so it made searching activities and shopping in my area a nightmare!! Otherwise, the hotel itself was cozy.

Staff was very nice. Our room was spacious. We were in the annexed building. No elevator, no big deal. Dirty carpet on stairs and floor. Bathroom around toilet hadn’t seen a mop or a duster in quite some time. Dirty floors in bedroom especially corners. For the price they charge they could have a manager supervising quality of rooms.

Room was typical hotel room. Beds were not comfortable and pillows need to be replaced. The heat ran all evening and never reached above 67. Location is ideal.
