Book Boca Chica Key hotels

This resort is in serious need of updating. The grout along the bottom of the tub was grossly discolored and cracked. The private " beach: is a strip of sand over rock leading to a ledge of rocky access to the water. When room cleaning was requested, no new sheets, no sweeping the floor. Breakfast offerings never varied. No phone. Inadequate room lighting. No TV channel guide. No recycling options. Would have appreciated a coffee maker, a microwave. No airport shuttle. We expected more for $500/day.

Everything about this hotel is awesome

Booked a twin queen bed suite for this stay and was told it was a garden view only to discover it was a view of the parking lot. Then there was a significant water leak which flooded our room while we were out for a walk and soaked our suitcases. The repair man came while we were having dinner, however, when we returned the leak was starting to pool water in our room again. The hotel offered to switch us to a standard room and a $200 refund which I felt was rich when we had booked a suite. We weren’t interested, so thankfully Expedia issued a full refund and we drove back to Miami late that evening.

It was great! The location was good - could walk across the street to the beach. And the shuttle service was awesome - took us to and from the airport and to and from downtown! The room was cute and the restaurant was a little pricey but easy and all foods the kids liked 😊

TV broken, no bedding for hide a bed, did not respond to 2 messages asking for them to fix it.
