My stay wasn't bad. My floor hadn't been vacuumed, there was no toilet tissue when i arrived, the tub didn't have a drain stopper and the fridge didn't work. I wish the pool was heated but in the summer it might be refreshing because it's so cold. However, the staff was very kind.

Loved the bathtub it had handles to hold on to. Very easy. Good location near different places to eat within walking distance. There was an indoor pool but the water was cold. The breakfast was eggs, bacon, potatoes and the waffles cereal muffins ... coffee, juice etc. Very clean and safe place.

Own a Hampton Inn

I arrived to discover the entire front entrance blocked off. There wasn't a sign to show how I was supposed to check-in. Eventually, I discovered it was acceptable to walk across the newly resurfaced entrance, just not to drive. Was I greeted by someone who acknowledged or apologized for the inconvenience? Was there a different entrance I could use? Nope, instead a fairly rude employee suggested I could pull up as close as possible and try to unload there. Since we are on a cross-country move carrying our most valued possessions and it was raining, this was a lot of fun.Next day, the workers parked all around the entrance adding complexity to leaving the hotel (again in the rain). This time we got to try and load everything while parked on a pretty good incline since the workers had taken all of the flat parking spaces, because why should they be inconvenienced when you could inconvenience paying guests? The resurfacing project combined with the rain made the surface so slick that my daughter (a world-class ballet dancer) slipped and nearly injured herself. Thanks to her choice to wear hiking boots, and her considerable athleticism, she was able to avoid injury, but I doubt that will be the case for everyone. So if you would like to own a Hampton Inn with a staff full of bad attitudes, and have a few months to spend in a hospital recovering from your injuries, I highly recommend this hotel (in a rainy season)!

Continual traffic noise

There was continual traffic noise from nearby streets all night long, while not objectionable, I expected better noise insulation. Otherwise our stay was comfortable. There are several restaurants within walking distance, and plenty of parking within sight of the hotel & lobby, which is nice when you are traveling on motorcycles.

This was a very nice hotel with an amazing staff. The only complaints I have is there is not a lot of grassy areas for pets to use the bathroom. The designated area is small and rather muddy. Dogs didn’t have much of a choice on where to potty. The area also is right beside train tracks. I didn’t like going out at night with dogs because of train tracks so close.
