it was kinda weird - not bad but our balcony door wouldn’t lock was fairly clean, other than the under the futon cushions. parking was good and there were some nice shops around.

It was our first time staying here. They gave us a top floor lakeside room and we loved it. The staff were very friendly and professional. The room and common areas were very clean. It was very quiet at night. The beds were comfy. The pool was closed. We were very close to the all of the stores. Had a nice selection of breakfast items for free. A great place to stay.

Hope it get finished

Check in was quick and easy. Room are much better then in years past. They are still under rehab construction and they don’t try to hide it. I would be surprised if they end up finishing it. Doesn’t look like it’s a full time project. More like a DIY when the mood hits to work on it. Our room was much newer than the last time we stayed. We would stay there again for a room rate under $100 a night.

Has potential but not there yet.

It was a mix of remodeled and totally a mess. It has potential but I don't think they care enough, or are willing to spend enough, to make it as good as it can be. The location is amazing so the potential is there. Our room was freezing (yes, 50 degrees) when we opened the door. No heat on and someone had left the slider open a crack. Had to crank the heat for hours. The room and bathroom have been remodeled but done in an economical, not classy, way. Weird mix of fake wood and plastic furniture. Shower took about 10 minutes to get hot water. The beds were actually very good and comfortable. The continental breakfast was disgusting. Hard, old bread and bagels and cheap, packaged danishes. Christmas decorations were still up and on breakfast tables in mid-February. Random furniture for remodeling was all over the lobby and hallways.

We stayed here for the ice fest. No regrets. We couldn't have asked for a better location. We actually booked a second night here after the first night went well. Yes, there's a lot of work that can be done, but for the price and location we would stay again. There were no bugs. The toilet and shower worked. The doors locked. The beds were comfortable. The staff was very nice.

Parking and checkin were a Breese. Staff was friendly. It’s as if it’s almost finished. The room seemed recently updated and there are something’s they still have to work out. We figured out the mirror on day two, and the bathroom shower needs the most work. There’s no place to put soap or shampoo except the floor, and the wait for hot water is extreme. Also the balcony door wouldn’t lock, and while it would be difficult, it wouldn’t be impossible to break in.
