It was okay. Comfortable bed and clean. Very tiny balcony, small bathroom, the door could not open or shut unless you were in the shower or not in the bathroom at all. You couldn't turn the shower on unless you were in the shower so be prepared for cold water and very low water pressure.

The hotel was not clean. I had to ask for shower to be cleaned upon arrival. The hallway carpet was stained and something was spilled and dried at the door in front of our room. I dont usually leave reviews but i felt that i needed to this time. Definitely not an over $200 a night hotel. The photos are deceiving. The aerial shot is at the beach down the road. Beach volleyball is at Silver beach as well. The details of hotel make it sound like its part of the property. The pool and bar are both closed. I believe until 2026. The amenities still show pool. You have to look further into the details to see that it is closed until i believe at least next year. The one positive is location. Walking distance from shops and restaurants. Beach is a few blocks away.

Location is pretty good. The hotel was dirty. Our shower still had hair on the walls from previous people, our bedding had blood spots and dirt on it, they took our towels to wash and didn’t leave us any clean ones to use, they changed our trash bags and left the trash in the bag on the bathroom sink. It smelled of weed everyday when the staff were going around cleaning and the pool was shut down.

Hotel is conveniently located to beautiful silver beach, Michigan. The hotel is clean enough and comfortable.. There is no frills, such as the toiletries don't match the same brand, the bathroom door opens inward, making the layout very hard to move around. Every room has a balcony that's very nice but no chairs, I'll be updated especially for $311 a night. Although our time in St Joe was nice the hotel could use updated but is good enough to sleep in.

Not happy but it worked

The workers were nice but not worth the price I paid. No air conditioning in the building, just the room. The elevators were always packed and slow moving. No service elevator so the workers needed it for their equipment. Our room was clean but we didn’t get the side with the view I booked for. But what really was upsetting is the breakfast. Was hoping for a little more for what we paid but all there was was cereal, bagels, toast, and a fruit or 2.

The staff were very kind, but the property does not look as pictured at all. The lobby smelled musty, dusty. The hallway to our room was filled VERY strong food odors like onion, garlic etc. so overpowering we had to hold our nose. Once in our room it was now like smelling cleaning chemicals, with food and musty dust. The bed linens were wrinkled, stained and didn’t look like fresh new sheets - we then just left the hotel and stayed somewhere else. Very disappointing experience. I don’t think all these high ratings are from real people …..

Food options in the am were not appealing and I tried several different items. The muffins were hard and tasted stale, The microwave was not heating the sandwiches properly. Coffee was good. I would suggest changing distribution of muffins and breads, possibly getting boiled eggs or microwave pancakes

Not clean, the idea of redone, was covering it was paint. The breakfast was basic. The area was dirty. A piece of the coffee machine with old water and dirty rag, with nats around them. I didn’t want to drink the coffee in case it wasn’t clean. The lids on the trash cans are covered and filthy. It looks like food has been spilled on it for months along with dirt, like at an old truck stop. We got clean towel day and the beds seems clean. The beds were comfortable. The location is the best part of the hotel.

Loved that we could walk from the hotel to the downtown shopping and dining area. We even walked to the beach, but drove our car when we took the cooler and all our beach gear. The room was spacious and clean.

The hotel was not very clean and there was no air condition anywhere except the rooms. The halls, stairway, lobby & eating area were all very hot. The elevators took extremely long to wait for them to go up and down.
