Staff was excellent especially Wednesday afternoon check-in. Don't remember her name but she handled the check-in procedure in a speedy and most professional manner. She at all times was pleasant, cheerful with a sincere desire to make everyone in our group feel welcome and tend to our requests. We loved everything about this property, until my son and I spent 2+ hrs in the water park. I wound up with rashes on my skin, extremely irritated, and burning sensation in the eyes, and my son had a severe allergic reaction to the chlorine, and chlorine burns under his eyes. It was so bad, we had considered the possibility of an ER run had eye flushing, and Benadryl not worked. My son is on a swim team too, so we’ve never experienced this before. I think they maybe using a harsh amount of chlorine or chemicals to compensate for children tinkling in the pool. It really put a damper in our weekend. That is my only complaint. Otherwise we absolutely loved everything else about Deer Valley! Great continental breakfast, awesome food options at the bar too!

Deer Valley Lodge was a great place to stay with our two kids. We loved that there was a bar with food options available, as well as a little shop with things we may need. Our kids enjoyed the pool and water features! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The grounds were beautiful with nice outdoor sitting areas. Great stay!

There wasn't really option for breakfast which is included in the price for the stay. The pool was very dirty and the stair to the water slides where in rough shape. It felt weak in some spots. The hot tub had a nasty Foam on it. The hallways looked dirty and needing to be vaccumed and there was dust everywhere. I know that it has the potential to be a awesome hotel it just needs a little TLC.
