We had ocean view room. Beautiful view. Loved the pool and hot tub and tiki bar. Also visiting one restaurant on property and very pleased with it. Also loved that there was a free shuttle into town.

Wonderful stay in Bar Harbor!

This hotel exceeded my expectations. Our bathroom was much more updated than what was in the photos on hotels.com and the rooms were adorably decorated as well as the rest of the hotel. Water pressure in the shower was amazing. The grounds were beautiful and the pool on the water was delightful. The on site eateries were an added convenience. Staff was also amazing towards my two dogs even after a sunlight mix up when checking them in, upon finding out about our dogs we came back to our room to find a sweet doggy goodie bag hanging from our door including treats, a blanket and a collapsable dog bowl for us! The only odd thing was I definitely thought we had booked our rooms for less when we made the reservation through hotels.com so upon check out I had to re-check, and I still feel like something changed bc I didn’t remember us deciding to pay as much as we did, but in the words of my husband “oh well the place was great”

This is a beautiful hotel. The pool/hot tub area with a sea view was one of the nicest I’ve ever seen, and the pool was comfortably heated on a somewhat chilly September day (and I’m picky about that—same goes for the hot tub temp, too). The room was immaculate. It seemed recently updated and had the amenities we wanted (not-so-mini fridge, lots of bedside phone charging ports, excellent shower …). I highly recommend this resort.

Incredible views of the harbor. We enjoyed delicious meals at the lobster pound and the dining room. Fabulous views while eating. Joseph was a host several times during breakfast. His manor was very gruff, and he denied our request twice to sit on the porch for breakfast. Another hostess had no problem seating us on the porch. My husband and I both wish that the mattresses were firmer; there was not enough back support. Access to The Island Explorer buses was amazing.

Beautiful property, close to everything. Friendly staff. Meal and drink options on property are pricey, but they have free coffee, water, and hot chocolate in the lobby and free shuttle to Bar Harbor. Room was not well cleaned when we checked in, something spilled on the bathroom floor hadn't been cleaned up and other trash was on the floor in the room.

The hotel setting is superb, with a lovely outdoor pool overlooking the water and food and drink service at the pool. Our room was a typical hotel room, a bit dated, but we had a small balcony overlooking the water, which was worth the extra money. The shuttle that runs from the hotel to downtown Bat Harbor was clean and on time.
