hotel was in the process of being renovated so ofcourse it had a smell but nothing that would be bothersome. our room was one of the updated ones which I was happy about. Room was clean and spacious. Pool area is definitely in need of an upgrade but i know there are in the process of doing so eventually. However, no complaints. Breakfast had good options as well.

Not A Bad Stay

The hotel was quite noisy for my taste but that may have been because there was a bus load of teens staying there. The lobby and some of the rooms in one wing was under renovation. The room I was in was renovated and it was very nice.

The room was nice and the staff friendly. I was upset that there were no cinnamon buns during breakfast, and the pancake machine was not working. I have a prefer competitive two hotels and prefer Holiday Inn express for the cinnamon buns!

Total fail.

If there was an option for “zero” stars I would have chosen. The front desk lady informed us (quite rudely) that our room wasn’t available because someone was already in it. We booked weeks in advance. She tried to downgrade us with no price change and the room didn’t accommodate. 100% unacceptable. She and the manager were unprofessional at the least. The attitude is what sent us to rebook at another hotel. (Not to mention the hotel was under construction and there was no acknowledgement). Fail.
