I love almost everything. I would like to see some updates if i ever go back. The bathrooms are very 70s and the air conditioner is like one of the first ever made lol bit all in all i would go back.

A pillow, a sheet and a towel

Have stayed here often for one night stays when visiting relatives. Basically just needed a place to rest our heads. Good size queen room with loveseat, tv, microwave, bar fridge and extra bathroom sink outside the bathroom. Rooms are outdated, blanket had holes, and shower tiles cracked. However rooms, towels and linens were extremely clean. Basic amenities included soap and shampoo. Directly off the expressway with a Tim Hortons directly across the street. Quick and personable check-in. Notably the Holiday Inn Express (less than 10 minutes away) offered a bereavement rate of $350 + tax. All we needed was a pillow, a towel and a sheet. We got this and more at the Ivy Rose for less than $90 all in. Great price point.

Staff put us in a room with poor air conditioning but upon realizing that they offered us a bigger room with a wonderful air conditioner so that was awesome! Front desk staff is super friendly!

was asked smoking or non smoking at check in. said it did not matter because it was an outside room. were given a smoking room, dirty, burn holes in carpet. Only 4 cars in parking lot, could have given us a better room. Seen the next day that the room next door to us had new flooring. Not sure if since we booked with Expedia, we got a crappy room??
