Our holiday home is in Salema, a small village close to Lagos. It is very popular amongst golf lovers, families and nature lovers.
A selection of restaurants & bars is there for you to explore both local and international food. We recommend trying fresh fish and seafood dishes! There is a supermarket 4 minutes away by car. Like Burgau and Praia da Luz, other beaches are just a short drive away. So whether you want to relax, go for a surf or enjoy a fantastic hike in nature, Budens is the place. And if you do crave the city life at some point, the city of Lagos is only 20 minutes away.
## Transit
You can reach Salema in about one hour by car from Faro Airport, and car rental is available in the airport's parking lot. By train, it will take about 4 to 5 hours.
The best way to travel the Algarvarian coast is by boat or car. However, if you want to explore the area, a (rental) car will make your life much easier as public transport is limited and will also get you around.
Parking is free and abundant everywhere in this area.
