Overall i believe the member of staff I meet on site was good and professional, however, due to the age of the building, I think it needs better renovation, and I had issues breathing in the first few minutes I arrived (you can smell the difference in the air)

Hotel in an undesirable location.

Although the hotel was in a satisfactory condition, the surrounding streets were not very desirable and we felt unsafe leaving the hotel and compelled to find different accomodation.

The cleaning women screaming "housekeeping!"and rapping on the doors at every room down the hall starting early in the morning made it impossible to sleep in during my vacation. I have never stayed anywhere where the housekeeping was so obnoxious and loud. It did not matter if the tag was on the door or not, the whole floor could hear it. It's in a terrible part of town, but the rooms were clean.

This hotel is in a part of town that boasts a huge homeless community and the blocks around it are daunting if you’re unprepared. The smell of urine permeates. The lobby was clean and full of plants which was nice and the building is over 100 years old so could be quaint and funky but was actually run down and smelled of mould, stale cigarettes and alcohol. Elevator is dodgy. The carpet was so shabby I didn’t want to put my bag on it. There was nothing to indicate wifi - no signs etc. The linen was clean and it was quiet at night. In general this place made me decide I could spend more money on my next trip.
