Book Val-des-Monts hotels

The breakfast was excellent, only negative was the area across the road.

Everything work out great.the hotel was in walking distance and room was clean at well as the kitchen. The free breakfast has a lot to choose from.

Great room

Room was very clean. There was an air fresher type smell in the lobby we didn't like, but other than that, all staff were friendly and helpful at check-in and check-out. Continental breakfast was Costco type muffins, apples, bananas, yoghurt, bagels, english muffins, coffee, tea, juice. Shower had full size shampoo/conditioner/body wash.Kitchenette had pots, pans, dishes, apartment size fridge, microwave, small stove and even a small dishwasher. Dish soaps and tea towels provided. A great feature if staying for several nights. Bed was very comfortable. Very convenient to walk around downtown Ottawa and explore the sights. We'd book here again.

Gorgeous, haunting and wonderful staff. Bartenders were a bit snobbish but the rest of the stay was perfection.

When I booked on line I specified a room with 2 beds. On check in I asked and it was confirmed - a room with 2 beds and a pull out couch. On entering the room it was one bed and a terrible pull out sofa. discussions with management were met with poor reponse - this was the expedia room and we can't do anything. For the 4 days we stayed the room was not cleaned ever. We asked about this at Customer Service 3 times and were told "Oh Yes - we clean every day". It was never cleaned. We had to go to the front desk to request toilet paper, soap and towels. The attitude at Front Desk was Meh - oh well. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone which is sad because the location is fine.
