The property was great but be aware that there is heavy construction work going on right beside the hotel which negatively impacted our stay (which is why my rating is 3 stars and not 4) Other than that, location was perfect.

Great location in the market area. I enjoyed my stay and really appreciated the fact that your hotel supplied free bottled wayee as needed, as that is extremely important to me. Also a wonderful place for walking to so many local sights. The room had a great view and was very comfortable.

We booked the room with the view king bed with breakfast included but the bed looked like a queen not king very tiny can call it a mini king plus when we went in for breakfast next morning they said we do need reservation for that but now it’s full so can’t get us the table so have to do breakfast outside when you check out which is horrible plus no parking available only option was valley which was $48 so they could make more money…worst experience ever I should have bonded a cheap asa motel instead

The Andaz was mostly good for our three night stay. The rooms are large, clean and bright. Unfortunately, there is a massive construction sight next door which is extremely noisy starting at 7am. It was right underneath our room and the jackhammers and banging were incessant. I will not go back until after construction is complete.

We loved our entire stay at the Andaz. Unfortunately there is major construction going on although we were warned about it ahead of time it was quite loud at times.

Generally speaking, the accomodstions were very good. The location was great and the staff were wonderful. The only issue is the sound of the construction nearby rhst started at 7am that made sleeping in, near impossible. If yiu dont mind waking at 7am,this is your place to stay in Ottawa!

Amazing hotel inside and out, but the property around is full of crackheads. Every time I stay there, I get harassed by some when I get out to walk around. This time it was raining and I quickly ran from the hotel to Joey Rideau (restaurant nearby), a homeless crackhead started running after me. I confronted him and he crossed the street, running away. I walk another half a mile and a homeless woman starts running towards me telling me to give her some money. When I get back, two young women start shouting at me to give them bus money. Will never go back to Andaz until the city cleans up that area.

I loved the property and area however the parking was difficult to use and the construction next door was non stop. The valet parking was affected by the construction as well. No fault of the hotel. Will definitely go back but maybe once construction is finished!

Very clean and offers an excellent location close to everything in the Byward market. We were told about the construction ahead of time. Disappointing that the rooftop bar does not offer any food or hot beverages like tea or coffee.
