No parking, no valet. Have to park 3 blocks away in a snow storm. Extra fees are really high. Workers vacuuming during the day and look at you funny when you need to walk where they just cleaned. Check-in staff didn’t know any answer to my questions

We had supper at the restaurant in the hotel and it was fabulous. Service was wonderful and we were offered fresh milk for coffee or tea in the room. The room was clean and welcoming when we arrived.

sadly there was mold and mildew in the grout and caulking between tiles in the shower and also the ceiling penal was constantly making loud noise at midnight. Yes we fixed it (temporarily by using cloth hanger to poke it) but it made noise again after a while. So we barely slept the whole night.

I booked a two-night stay at Lord Elgin based on positive reviews, expecting a comfortable experience for myself and my family. Unfortunately, the reality was far from what was advertised. There was extensive construction and renovation work throughout the property, which was never disclosed on your website or during booking. This created significant inconvenience—limited access with only one entrance, just two working elevators, and a cluttered, noisy lobby. The service was below expectations, and the overall environment was not conducive to relaxation. I extended my stay hoping for a pleasant experience, but instead, we were forced to check out early due to the conditions. The only slight improvement came after paying extra to upgrade to a park-view room; without that, staying even one night would have been unbearable.
