Breakfast was completely disappointing for several reasons, especially when compared to the Holiday Inn in Toronto where I stayed a few days earlier. In Toronto, they offered more variety and basic items like bacon and yogurt, and they would prepare omelets on the spot, just the way you wanted. The dishes and cutlery were real—not disposable like in Ottawa. The feeling of eating with disposable utensils and cold eggs is thoroughly unpleasant. It probably saves them money, but it definitely lowers their standard. ...And I found an insect in the bathroom

Overall it was a nice hotel and was close to lots of things! Area at night was a little interesting but nothing bad if you are with a group! The hotel was AMAZING and had a wonderful view from the patio! The staff was nice and helpful and breakfast was great

The hotel was very clean and friendly staff, I felt safe on the property . I didn’t like the area outside, lots of traffic and the area had a lot of homeless people.

Hotel is clean and comfortable, only issue is parking, when we arrived, the on-site parking garage is full, we had to park at a garage which is 6 minutes walk away, not too bad if weather is good, but will be a problem if you want to stay in winter.

The hotel was very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. The pool was clean but small. The area was within walking distance to all that we wanted to see in Ottawa, however, I would not have wanted to walk outside at night. It was one block over from a homeless shelter and soup kitchen and there were many sketchy people milling about all hours of the night about a block away.

The hotel is great, the staff is super helpful. It has excellent facilities better than avg Holiday Inn Express, interestingly enough it has a small pool which some people would like. The gym is very good. The breakfast is better in the early hours, as the time passes it has limited options offered, but the staff can provide you what you need. I had a good stay It is very close to Rideau downtown with lots of bars and restaurants. Though, for women walking alone it might feel a bit unpleasant as there are many homeless persons around the property.
