Very high traffic hotel. Stained carpets and furniture, room smelled very strongly of dog and had a dirty bathroom. Building looks nice online but in person is in direct vicinity of a soup kitchen of some kind with lots of unhoused folks and drug activity. We love Holiday Inn Express but would not stay at this location again.

Parking five blocks away in a very shady area. Rarely have I felt unsafe at a Holiday Inn, but I feel unsafe in this neighborhood!

Very new and comfortable hotel, underground parking it is good for downtown location. Free breakfast is available and nice options of food. Walking distance to By Ward market and other attractions. There is homeless shelter nearby , but as long as not walking closed there at night , I don’t think that would cause any problems.

Beds were very comfortable and room was kept nice and clean. Water pressure in showers could have been stronger. Some staff were friendlier than others but overall they were very helpful. Breakfast staff happy and cheerful. Onsite parking not guaranteed and spaces were tight but once you got a space, you could have in and out privileges. There is a safe injection site across the street but the residents seemed harmless. Some restaurants and museums within walking distance. Overall a great experience.
